Abstract
GARCIA-LEGUIZAMON, Fernando. Production of new subjectivities in Pentecostal movements. The case of Mampuján. Civilizar [online]. 2014, vol.14, n.26, pp.163-176. ISSN 1657-8953.
The political action of the Pentecostal movements in Colombia is described by analysts as a continuation of traditional practices that combine elements of chieftainship and clientelism. From this perspective, the social work of these groups does not show a transformer projection that goes beyond specific efforts of care allowances. Diagnoses that are called into question by the appearance of an interpretation of the gospel that, as observed in the population of Mampuján, in northern Colombia, can boost social organization. In the circumstances of violence and displacement experienced by this community, changing ethical perspective guided by the "full gospel" prompted the creation of new social and political subjects.
Keywords : Pentecostalism; subjectivity; full gospel; Mampuján.
