Objective:
To systematize the experience of development of the didactic sequence aimed at strengthening the reading and the writing skills of Social Work students at Universidad Industrial de Santander through the formulation of research proposals in the subject Fundamentals of Social Research.
Methodology:
Systematization of experiences.
Results:
In the construction exercises of the research proposals, the use of techniques to synthesize the readings, the planning of writing by carrying out basic outlines, the writing examples of the components of the proposal, the constant revision of the teachers and peer review.
Conclusions:
The elaboration of research proposals requires the qualification of the reading-writing capacity of the students in the classroom. It is essential to guide the Fundamentals of Social Research subject to the development of these capacities (competencies), even when it is not explicit in the curriculum plans.
