This article presents the development of one of the specific objectives of the research, aimed at revealing the cultural representations, prejudices and gender stereotypes present in the students when processing the ordinary processes of food advanced in the Consultorio Jurídico de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Antioquia, Medellín, 2016. With the purpose of providing a point of theoretical reflection on the incidence of the cultural component in the teaching and practice of law. The findings are derived from information collection instruments, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, case reviews, among others. In order to review the speeches present in the food issue, five categories were established: affectation of women, trivialization, invisibility, blaming the victim, naturalization, and three categories emerged: cycle of violence, revenge and judicial congestion, against which present the main findings.
