Abstract

One of the irrigation techniques more used in the world, in particular the geographical Valley of the River Cauca, it is the irrigation furrows, being the cultivation of the sugar cane is the dominant and it uses this system preferently. In the idea of improving the handling and remensuration of this technique a computacional program (SRISOC) was developed to simulate the different phases of the furrows irrigation using the kinematic wave model, also allowing to interpret contamination solutes problems.
