Abstract

This paper presents a methodology for knowledge survey and modeling. The methodology aims to make an expert system for fault diagnosis and solution. The methodology comprises a plant system definition, information and knowledge sources, and knowledge models. This is done to guide the operators' behavior and the plant personnel in contingency situations.
