After the introduction this paper points out the personifications and aims of mythology; the why of myths, the latent motivations, the need and desire to know the secret of the gods, the prohibition of knowledge and truth, the problem this poses and its consequence on the lie, the need of power in life, the fear of truth and the need of the concept of nirvana to arrive to the concept of God.
