The following presentation has the objective of reviewing the major characteristics of this entity as well as discussing the actual theories, on the etiology, taking into account that there is a spectrum of clinical presentation and that necessary to take an immediate action when encountering a patient-with symptoms that suggest this entity. This review emphasizes the importance of making a differential diagnosis in order to establish the most accurate treatment.
