Abstract

PRADA DUSSAN, Maximiliano. Interdisciplinarity in the curriculum of the National Pedagogical University Bachelor in Philosophy. Franciscanum [online]. 2021, vol.63, n.175, pp.9-9.  Epub Apr 27, 2021. ISSN 0120-1468.  https://doi.org/10.21500/01201468.4700.

This article is the result of the analysis of the curriculum of the Bachelor of Philosophy of National Pedagogical University since its foundation in 2009. As it is a university program directly associated with knowledge, it examines the knowledge that supports the formation of graduates in philosophy. Through this analysis, it is revealed that the training of philosophy graduates at the National Pedagogical University has had two major disciplinary supports: philosophy and pedagogy. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to identify and make explicit the tensions and internal elements that articulate the curricula of the career in relation to this knowledge. It shows the role that each of these has had in the configuration of the curriculum and the modes of interdisciplinary that have been explored between them. The study describes each one of the supports and sustains that the distinction of each one of them, at the same time that it has strengthened them independently, has promoted the interdisciplinarity. Thus, it is postulated that the disciplinary curriculum has been, in this case, the best strategy to promote interdisciplinarity, rather than one of an integrated nature. As a relevant case within the analysis, the so-called alternative or provisional curriculum is mentioned, which originated in the program in 2017 as a commitment to link disciplinary training with the need to understand and intervene in the national situation.
