Abstract

LARA PIMENTEL, Renata Marcelle  and  GOMES DE ASSIS PIMENTEL, Giuliano. THE LUDIC DISCOURSE IN THE DISCOURSES ABOUT THE LUDIC. Forma funcion, Santaf, de Bogot, D.C. [online]. 2009, vol.22, n.1, pp.161-179. ISSN 0120-338X.

The theoretical apprehensions for understanding the meaning of what is referred to as 'ludic', which constitutes a terminology frequently used in speeches, sometimes leads to understand such a meaning in a strict form. This paper was based on speeches concerning the 'ludic' terminology, regarding the leisure field, in recent initiatives for systematizing its use in the academic field. The starting point for developing this investigation were the encyclopedia entries describing such terminology and theme. Counting on discourse analysis to provide theoreticalmethodological support, we attempted to evidence the stabilizations generated by such speeches, in order to understant 'ludic' terminology in its discursivity, under the light of discourse analysis. Discourse Analysts perceive that the lack of debates about the relationship regarding ludic and leisure contribute greatly to sustain the effect of evidence of such property in the area. Since such a phenomenon is not installed anywhere but, in fact, occurs in the relationships among subjects, it works in a discursive way as the non-performed part of the leisure movement, that is, its non-pre-built characteristic.

Keywords : ludic terminology; leisure terminology; discourse analysis.
