Abstract
GIRALDO GALLEGO, Diana Andrea. Structural analysis of two colloquial conversations of the language of young people in Medellin, represented in audiovisual means. Leng. [online]. 2012, vol.40, n.1, pp.209-230. ISSN 0120-3479.
This article presents a structural analysis of two colloquial conversations of the language of young people in Medellín, both represented in audiovisual means. The first conversation is a segment of Musinet, a teenager TV show and the second one is taken from the movie Rosario Tijeras. The following phases were fulfilled to carry out this work: Search and selection of audiovisual material from two colloquial conversations among teenagers from Medellín, transcription of the recordings by means of the signs used by Briz (2004); structural analysis which evidences the representative, directive, commisive and expressive speech acts, besides the manner in which interventions, turns and interchanges take place. Finally, the conclusions show that in the two conversations, speech acts and interchanges happen in the same manner, in contrast to interventions and turns. This could be explained because in Musinet, the conversation occurs in a more spontaneous way compared to Rosario Tijeras, where it is mediated by a script
