Abstract

ANDRE COLLI, Gelci  and  RUPPENTHAL NETO, Willibaldo. Human Ambivalence: a Christian Perspective. Theol. Xave. [online]. 2013, vol.63, n.176, pp.403-428. ISSN 0120-3649.

This work seeks to identify the comprehension of human nature based on a Christian anthropological perspective. It does not deny the obvious tension that is inherent to man, but seeks to understand it as an element of his own, ambivalent nature. Bearing in mind a dual vision, through bivalent logic, a reduction of the topic proposes, through a relational perspective, perfection in this nature: body and soul, and the expectation of an eschatological redemption.

Keywords : Philosophical anthropology; human nature; ambivalence, theology; hermeneutics.
