Nowadays, the term “sustainability” is very helpful in all areas of daily life, especially when it comes to sustainable processes, sustainable business and sustainable management. This work aims to look at various topics related to the concept of sustainability from the theoretical perspective, with business application, where topics like “green marketing” come to light as the way of commercializing the products; the operations area, with the concept of “sustainability of supply chains;” the human resources area, where the concept of “sustainable management of human resources” is created, in order to strengthen the organizational culture in the values of sustainability; and lastly, the financial area, where it is considered to be the concept of “sustainable finance.” Throughout this work, it is possible to identify the main findings in the subject in each of the business areas and their main implications, in order to generate awareness about the great importance that the appropriate and responsible use of the different aspects of sustainability has nowadays, whether in business, academic or social environments.
