Abstract

In order to reflect on the notion of border in the context of the great problems raised by globalization, the present article dwells particularly on the categories of identity and identification, both figures built by the representations that the Nation State has afforded for the construction of the subjectivities. The analysis of these categories is carried out according to a set of psychoanalytical assumptions.
