Abstract

RODRIGUEZ JARAMILLO, Antonio. Foucault, Alethurgies. Prax. filos. [online]. 2017, n.45, pp.145-169. ISSN 0120-4688.  https://doi.org/10.25100/pfilosofica.v0i45.6058.

The guidelines of a new notion of critique are present in Foucault's thought, being those susceptible of clarifying the question of the relations: subject and truth, as well as the practice of his own thinking. Criticism can be read both as a way of being and as thought's operator, thought that is taken in its own existence, but not “on behalf of a document”, but as an “existence of monument” as a historical-critical practice. It is inquired if for Foucault there is any practice outside the truth: is thinking susceptible of being defined as a historical-critical practice of a “truth-ritual”?

Keywords : Foucault; subjectivity; criticism; truth; cynicism.
