Abstract
RENGIFO ISAZA, Dawini. The Delphic Sentence gnôthi seautón / nosce te ipsum and the Kantian Doctrine of Self-Knowledge. Prax. filos. [online]. 2019, n.48, pp.35-52. ISSN 0120-4688. https://doi.org/10.25100/pfilosofica.v0i48.7304.
This essay proposes a dialogue between ancient and modern. In this case it is about Immanuel Kant and the popular wisdom of the archaic Greece. From some evidence found in the posthumous work of the philosopher from Königsberg, a reflection is developed on the role it could play in critical philosophy, especially in the difficult doctrine of self-knowledge, the ancient and well-known Delphic Maxim gnôthi seautón / nosce te ipsum.
Keywords : Self-knowledge; Self-perception; Apperception; Epistemic humility; Wisdom.
