Abstract

The back problems are a frequent cause of medical consultation, these carry many expenses for health systems, by concept of medicines, services and disabilities. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) notes that the symptoms in lower back include muscle pain, type shooting or stabbing pain, limited flexibility, decreased range of motion, or an inability to stand tall.
Likewise, in accordance with the World Health Organization, the pain is a leading cause of disability, occurs in similar proportions in all cultures, interferes with quality of life, and the performance on the job.
This article discusses the exercises of core as an option of intervention for the low back pain, in regard to its description, their effects on the pain, function and other variables of physical qualities.
