WILCHES-LUNA, Alejandra et al. Two cases of Menétrier’s disease in children. Rev Col Gastroenterol [online]. 2018, vol.33, n.3, pp.312-317. ISSN 0120-9957.  https://doi.org/10.22516/25007440.165.

It is a hypertrophic gastropathy which causes loss of proteins and which has unknown causes in the majority of cases although it has been associated with infectious processes. It is characterized by edema, hypoproteinemia, hypoalbuminemia. In childhood it is benign and self-limited.
