This article analyzes the relationship between "production places" and "reception places" of the legal theory proposed by Professor Diego Lopez (in Impure Theory of Law), through Gadamer's concept of "representation" in Truth and Method, in order to show the theoretical potential (and relevance) that peripheral iustheory has in the transnational reading of legal thought. First, the bond between "production places" and "reception places" in the transnational theory of law developed by Lopez will be considered. Second, an exposition of Gadamer's concept of " representation" will be carried out to propose what he names "speculative caracter of language". Finally, on the basis of the foregoing, what is designated as "speculative carácter of peripheral iustheory" and some general conclusions will be presented.
