Abstract
GARCIA BAUTISTA, Daniel Fernando and MAHECHA GUTIERREZ, Samir Antonio. Technique and Environmental Feasibility Study of Tourism Processes and their Landscape Impact for a Trail in a Rural Area of Bogota. Cuad. Geogr. Rev. Colomb. Geogr. [online]. 2017, vol.26, n.2, pp.195-218. ISSN 0121-215X. https://doi.org/10.15446/rcdg.v26n2.59279.
In the rural areas Verjón Alto and Bajo of Bogotá, we carried out field work and spatial analysis to determine optimal touristic sectors and to select an environmental interpretation trail. In situ observation made it possible to define and delimit landscape units, which were used to evaluate visual quality and fragility to define landscape zoning in harmony with the tourist processes proposed for the path. We used two different methods to determine the load capacity; the result was an average of ten people per section. From this, we drew up a management proposal, evaluating the project impacts and determining pertinent environmental measures and indicators.
