This article is the result of an investigation whose objective was to redefine the meanings of the curriculum of the Degree Pro gram in Physical Education of the Cesmag University from the bodily practices of the Andean, Amazonian and Pacific areas of the Department of Nariño. The actions described in this writing evolve around analyzing objects, purposes, and forms of inter vention of the Motor Expression trend. The result shows that this trend is built from a complementarity approach and it is con cluded that it makes visible sectors historically excluded by hegemonic trends in Physical Education.
