Abstract

Scientific dissemination is discussed in this paper. Academic productions on scientific dissemination were analyzed in their approach and focus. The Portal de Periódicos of Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal do Ensino Superior (CAPES), available in Brazil, was assumed as research space for investigations about scientific dissemination between the years 2000 and 2016. State of knowledge and discourse analysis were the methodological and analytical backgrounds assumed in the research. Three categories were identified and organized. First, the technological approach is taken on the scientific dissemination. Its effects and intense use are discussed in relation with the divulgation to lay people. Second, language used in scientific dissemination materials requires different and specified forms of produce and facilitate understandings. Third, were identified categories focused on spatiality, with emphasis on potentiality of spaces outside the classroom to produce scientific knowledge and understandings. In conclusion, these categories are assumed as determined discursive ways for producing the dissemination of science. To know these indications are a possible way to develop and improve the science divulgation process.
