During the implementation of the program a notorious improvement is observed regarding weight and capillary glycemia. Stability regarding cholesterol levels (9.74% improvement) and triglycerides (7.47% improvement), while hypertension and glycemia levels show no significant variation. Slight changes also found in body mass index (0.28 +0.882), reflecting a favorable evolution in adults' quality of life, corroborated with the Wilcoxon test (0,027). Conclusion. Metabolic behavior of diabetic elders reflected an improvement with the implementation of an appropriate care plan. Said plan shows 77% effectiveness related to the duration of the program, which is in turn reflected in the graphic behavior of data.
