The analysis framed in this research article is prospective justice as a conceptual and methodological challenge for transitional justice in Colombia; the methodology is qualitative, focused on documentary sources of academic production on peace issues, research projects and intervention in conflict territories. The theoretical approach is governed by prospective justice, peace, reconciliation and transitional justice. The proposal is a prospective justice scheme, based on the premises of recovery and consolidation of the community fabric, promotion of peace agendas and expectations associated with future reconciliation.
