Abstract
CARDENAS RUIZ, Juan David; RONCALLO-DOW, Sergio and CRUZ-GONZALEZ, María Catalina. SOCIAL LEADERS IN THE DIGITAL AGENDA OF COLOMBIAN CONGRESSMEN: BETWEEN POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND DIRECT DENUNCIATION. anal.polit. [online]. 2020, vol.33, n.98, pp.66-84. ISSN 0121-4705. https://doi.org/10.15446/anpol.v33n98.89410.
The aim of this study is to identify the relevance of the social leaders issue on the Colombian Parliament members´ digital agenda on Twitter. Those who addressed the issue, during the first hundred days under the government of Ivan Duque, have a left and center-left political stance, contrary to that of the ruling parties. A pattern with a slight majority was identified; it privileged opinions or information from third parties through retweets. It is also evident that, although the issue is discussed, a certain degree of political correctness prevails in relation to the patterns of victimization and the attribution of responsibilities.
Keywords : social leaders; Colombia; Twitter; post-conflict; political correctness.
