Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate how climate change combat hide the rivalry between the great powers. The climate change combat covers economic interests and is useful for the United States and China global geopolitical strategy. It serves to US to counteract the presence of China in high-voltage areas, while US allows the oil, gas and coal industry sector to operate freely and without barriers. It is convenient for China to maintain its economic growth and for enhancing its presence in the world while maximizing its power in the international system.
