The present research collected evidence from a demonstrative project organised by the Centro Mexicano para la Producción más Limpia for 7 foundries during 1997 in the city of San Luis Potosí, México. Demonstrative projects represent a channel for broadcasting P+C at the beginning; however, both these and CMP+C performance have been insufficient for promoting general implementation of P+C.
