Abstract

From the presidency of Nestor Kirchner some agencies of the human rights movement in Argentina decided to progressively follow state politics and, in some cases, be incorporated into government structures. These highlighted the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, which had historically confronted with the state and the various governments since the return of democracy in 1983.This paper discusses some aspects of the changes in strategies, collective action frames and key interpretations about state and politics that produced this association during the period 2003-2010 with the aim of: Understanding the factors behind the passage of a dominant strategy of confrontation to one of integration to the state by the organization, perhaps, the most emblematic of the human rights movement in Argentina.To carry out the primary sources of information used, especially speeches and documents of the organization selected from the vast amount of material that has produced the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and secondary sources such as newspapers and magazines of national circulation in Argentina.
