Abstract

CARDOZO, Nelson Dionel  and  BULCOURF, Pablo. The Institutional Development of Administration and Public Policy in Argentina. A Study of Teaching from the Democratizing Process until Today. Estud. Polit. [online]. 2016, n.49, pp.216-238. ISSN 0121-5167.  https://doi.org/10.17533/udea.espo.n49a12.

This article investigates the Administration and Public Policy in the BA, MA and Ph.D programs in Argentina from the democratizing process until today, from a "meta-theoretical" approach integrating contributions of epistemology, sociology of knowledge and education, and history of science. The authors outline a general guidance of the geographical distribution thereof, their curriculum, and graduate profile. In the case of graduate programs, we take into account the outcome of the evaluation issued by the National Assessment and Accreditation (CONEAU). In the case of the degree cycles we will take into account the proposed profiles and their articulation with the institutional proposal and its insertion in the surrounding area. As a result, we maintain that there has been a significant increase in the development of the field, focused primarily on MA programs, highlighting a marked lack of coordination between the formative and academic aspects, and the public management. This situation raises some dilemmas in the strategies for structuring the teaching and learning process in this area of knowledge.
