This work pretends to approach to the epistemological debate of the method in professional intervention of Social Work. It intends to introduce the main elements of the scientific theory as an abstract representation of the general reality determinations that this theory tries to explain. Also, related to the abstract need of having an intervention method in Social Work a priori knowing the object where we are going to intervene.
