Violence against women in the context of a partner is a serious structural social problem that has persisted over time and involves profound human rights violations. In order to reveal the different ways in which violence manifests itself within relationships, 1,168 sentences were collected on them in 41 WC of ana university institution. These manifestations were classified qualitatively according to the different types of violence (physical, psychological, sexual and economic) and through a critical and hermeneutic analysis from the postulates of the Gender Perspective and the Rights Perspective it was possible to find that intimate partner violence is based on gender stereotypes, hidden behind various forms, is justified by hetero-patriarchal cultural patterns and is deeply rooted and normalized within culture to the extent that human rights expressly protected by law are violated.
