Abstract
CASTRO GARCIA, Gustavo and SOSA RICO, Miguel Darío. Description of climatological data for the period 2012-2015 in El Yopal (Casanare, Colombia). Rev. Med. Vet. [online]. 2017, n.35, pp.73-81. ISSN 0122-9354. https://doi.org/10.19052/mv.4390.
Climatic variability is an important issue for the development of agricultural activities. In the description of climate trends, it is necessary to establish models for consultation, which can support forecasts and data analysis. In Colombia, in certain areas there are no available equipment to measure these parameters, because significant investment and technical training is required for their management and maintenance. One possible solution is to establish models that allow visualizing data trends. This research was developed in the region of Casanare, located on the eastern plains of Colombia. This area is characterized by the production of livestock, as well as rice, banana, and cassava. The present study analyzed climatological data trends, using the database of the period 20122015 of a Davis Weather Station-type weather station. The data analyzed were ambient temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), solar radiation (W/m-2), and wind speed (m/s-1). The trend of these parameters was evaluated annually, and determination coefficients (r2) were calculated according to the adjustment models used.
