Abstract

This article presents and overview of Vygotskian ideas about social development and the theory of activity. It also sets out Galperin's orientation to teaching which allows building up a didactics based on the organizers of teaching. These approaches provide an opportunity to generate conditions for a developing teaching, able to promote strategies for the appropriation of knowledge and to enhance real learning on the part of the students.
