Abstract
JARAMILLO-GOMEZ, Juana María. ALGUNAS REFLEXIONES ACERCA DEL FUNDAMENTO DE LA REGULACIÓN NATURAL DE LA FERTILIDAD. pers.bioét. [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.2, pp.166-177. ISSN 0123-3122.
The article examines a series of arguments concerning the anthropological basis for natural fertility regulation. In doing so, the idea is to demonstrate the importance of a holistic understanding of sexuality in human reality, without which there is the risk of living that reality in an impoverished terrain of instinctive animality or licentious slavery. Also analyzed is the true sense of absolute giving in love, where contraception and the negation of children are presented as a ruse to such giving and one to be avoided if the goal is to build solid and happy families. Natural fertility regulation is depicted as a scientifically endorsed way to postpone the arrival of offspring, in cases where it is necessary and for the right reasons.
Keywords : Sexuality; human being; paternity; love.
