Abstract
MARTINEZ-BUSTOS, Eric; CARRASCO-SAGREDO, Claudia and BULL, María T.. Methodological proposal to implement the first stage of Lewin’s organizational change management. estud.gerenc. [online]. 2018, vol.34, n.146, pp.88-98. ISSN 0123-5923. https://doi.org/10.18046/j.estger.2018.146.2813.
Paper proposes a methodology to implement the first stage of Lewin’s organizational change management model, known as the unfreeze stage. First, a survey was administered to employees to determine the individual typologies and organizations present in the company. Subsequently, the multi-criteria method Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Réalité (ELECTRE) was used to identify the set of minimum factors to be modified in order to successfully implement a change project. This proposal allows focusing the efforts of change managers, making them more effective to develop action plans for unfreezing prejudices. The priority typologies determined for this case were the ignorant and the lethargic under the individual dimension and the static and the monotonous classes under the organizational dimension.
Keywords : change management; resistance to change; ELECTRE algorithm; organizational development; multi-criteria decision.
