Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the management of universities in Colombia in the face of the contingency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the methodology, from a qualitative approach, a documentary design was used through the content analysis of the university web pages, various university documents, and institutional policy to study the management practices and strategies developed by the 87 universities in the year 2020. The results show that universities have not only implemented strategies to serve both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching but also for research and extension. In addition, its fundamental role in supporting the country in managing the pandemic COVID-19 is evidenced.
