Abstract
ROMERO, Sergio Santiago. Anahit by Juan Eduardo Cirlot: A Symbolic Rewriting of a Persian Myth. Lit. teor. hist. crit. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.1, pp.33-61. Epub Apr 05, 2021. ISSN 0123-5931. https://doi.org/10.15446/lthc.v23n1.90595.
This paper aims to approach from a hermeneutic perspective to Anahit (1968), a book of poems by the Spanish poet Juan Eduardo Cirlot. Tis book constitutes a free interpretation of the ancient Persian goddess Anahit to use each of her attributes in the poetic world of this poet. In the first part of this research, we reconstruct the combination of mythemes and symbols that are assembled around this goddess. In the second part, we carry out a hermeneutic analysis to show how these characteristics are gathered, modified, and reorganized in Cirlot's book
