Abstract

VIDAL, Giovanna Iubini. Tinkuy of the Word and the Image: Aesthetic Migration and Imaginary View in the Andean Neo-avant-gard. Lit. teor. hist. crit. [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.2, pp.167-200.  Epub Aug 22, 2022. ISSN 0123-5931.  https://doi.org/10.15446/lthc.v24n2.102034.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the existence of an Andean neo-avant-garde in the Peruvian poetry, that could be characterized as the continuity and extension of the aesthetic and literary proposals as well as the worldview developed by the Andean avant-garde throughout the 1920s in Puno. From our point of view, in the works of poets as José Luis Ayala, Niel Palomino, and Washington Córdova Huamán, we observed a primacy of the visual imagination and the visual and tactile forms of writing of the Andean culture. For this reason, we propose that in the works of these poets, an aesthetic migration takes place, where the image and the poetry confront each other in an experimental form of writing.

Keywords : Worldview; Andean imaginary view; aesthetic migration; Andean neo-avant-garde.
