Abstract

MILLAN OROZCO, David  and  VALLDERUTEN DARAVINA A MI MAESTRO, Otto. The Three Territorial Orders or the Procrustean Syndrome and Other Myths of the Social-Space-Time Relationship in the Colombian State. Territ. [online]. 2021, n.44, pp.33-56.  Epub July 23, 2023. ISSN 0123-8418.  https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/territorios/a.8052.

This article offers a new categorization for the study of the territory based on the Colombian reality, as a partial result of the author's doctoral research; result referring to the construction of an epistemological artifact to address the central problem estudied. It is discussed with multiple authors since a contemporary transdiscipline: territorial studies. The reflection uses the myth of Procusto or Procustes, from which important lessons are derived on the establishment of state territorial uniformity in contrast to the insufficient receptivity to the difference of the multiterritoriality present in the Republic of Colombia.

Keywords : State; territory; space; society; time; justice; ordering.
