Abstract

ALZATE, Carolina. Poetic diary of two 19th century lovers. Soledad Acosta and José María Samper. rev.estud.soc. [online]. 2006, n.24, pp.33-37. ISSN 0123-885X.

This article makes a comparative reading of two diaries by Soledad Acosta and José María Samper, written between 1853 and 1855, the first one, and between January and February 1855, the second one. It places both authors, lovers at that time and future husband and wife, in the context of Colombian 19th century national foundation, and tries to study their texts in terms of gender studies.
