The policies vary and not always intend to reach the three aspects of transitional justice: justice, truth and reparations. The political measures used by countries which undergone processes of transition to democracy can be grouping in four categories: criminal sanctions, non criminal sanctions, the public knowledge of the past and the commissions of truth and reparations. In this article, I will analyze critically each of them.
