Abstract

This work has among its objectives to analyze the struggle for the right of people to a Trans Gender Identity Law in Brazil once it has been sought through the Judicial the change of his first name and gender in the Registro Civil (Brazilian Vital Records). Stands out in this article the process of violence that these people face for being part of a society that generally rejects diversity and not includes, but try at all costs to make them entering into a generic template binormative, which it is: men and women. The fact is that groups, communities that have long been excluded from the National State building process, appears and reappears demanding their rights as subjects of rights. For this work we seek references in various areas of knowledge, among which we mention: Law, Sociology and History.
