Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Neiva Afonso  and  VALEIRAO, Kelin. Subject and social práxis. discus.filos [online]. 2013, vol.14, n.23, pp.67-77. ISSN 0124-6127.

This paper aims, firstly, at discussing the concept of praxis in Aristotelian philosophy as action. Secondly, the text tries to prove the hypothesis that it is in Heidegger's philosophy that this concept establishes a link with the subject. Heidegger studies Ethics in praxis's environment, and looks for a contraposition between the concept of Ethics and the concepts of technique and theory, and moves away from Aristotle when defending that theoretical procedure derives from poiethical subordination.

Keywords : Aristotle; Heidegger; Praxis; Technique.
