The assignment of this article consists of effec ting an exegesis, deciphering and comprehen sion of Henri Lefebvre's thought concerning his worry and study of topics as the city, the urban thing, the urbanism, as well as to identi fy critically the sense of his ontological-political offer of the right to the city across his "Thesis on the city, the urban thing and the urbanism".

The hermeneutic used method follows an in verse way to the synthesis that means to write "Thesis" on some topic, departing from the location of the urban topics in his intellectual production.

The right to the city, in this article, is visualized from an interpretive study of the content of his twelve Theses on the city, like monad or "windows" that are opened, as viewing-points of this thinker work's whose speech approa ches, from the topic of the daily life and in a multiple way, the urban diverse and complex reality of our time.
