Abstract

ANDRADE, Guillermo Carlos; KACZAN, Juan Ignacio  and  RUSCITTI, Andrés Federico. Approach of inclusive industrial design in the UNLa. Bitácora Urbano Territorial [online]. 2020, vol.30, n.2, pp.35-46. ISSN 0124-7913.  https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v30n2.81628.

The Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design was created in 2007, in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, within a productive network somewhat integrated to the national system of innovation, with difficulties in the access to higher education and the deterioration of socio-environmental conditions. Nonetheless, this Undergraduate Degree has quickly assimilated the actions and policies of the National University of Lanus oriented to the materialization of disabled people's rights. The experience of participation in transdisciplinary action research projects allowed us to formulate an approach to innovation management for Design without Barriers. This resulted in a methodology to approach the problems related to social inclusion and their response through design solutions in projects in which the industrial designer plays the role as the promoter of the process by articulating a network of diverse social actors.

Keywords : disability; National University of Lanus; industrial design.
