The text shows the results of the impact analysis of the performance evaluation process for teachers teaching at the University of Nariño. Re- search conducted with a sample of 580 respondents: managers, teachers and students from Pasto and subsites in Ipiales, Túquerres and Tumaco, through semi-structured interviews, the study evaluative-descriptive purposeful explores the appreciation and the discourse of the informants using a methodical examination of the implications of the teacher performance assessment, whose findings are triangulated with the results of systematic reflection about the realities concerning the subject of theoretical inquiry and documentary tissue occurs culminating synthesis an alternative way of improvement plan.
