Abstract

FEREGRINO BASURTO, María Azucena. SOCIAL CONSTRUCT OF THE OCCUPATION IN URBAN ART LABOR. Tend. [online]. 2018, vol.19, n.2, pp.182-200. ISSN 0124-8693.  https://doi.org/10.22267/rtend.181902.103.

This article addresses the labor market as a social construction influenced socially, culturally and politically through the interaction between different actors, and that is limited, or driven, by structures at different levels. However, since this is a study of occupations not mediated by a formal work contract, between an employer and a group of salaried workers, the concept of social construct of the occupation has been chosen. In this sense, this research aims to explain the complexities resulting from artistic activities in urban spaces and how they influence the construction of their occupations.
