The main purpose of this article, by documentary review, was to determine the need for administrative and technological advice and consultancy in MSMEs, as a strategic ally for business strengthening, taking as a base cases of the business sector to identify underlying problems and aspects to highlight. from a methodology based on the review of research and theoretical positions. Thus, the theoretical and conceptual elements of administrative and technological consulting and advising are addressed, the need for consulting and advising in companies, consulting and advising as a management tool for the Mípymes, professional skills of the consultant or advisor and consulting as a strategic ally in business strengthening in MSMEs. As relevant results, we have that consulting and advisory services are necessary to understand the changes and challenges of the market and macroeconomic dynamics; allowing them to be sustainable over time, regardless of their size or activity. Hence, they are aware of and resort to the use of experts in consulting and advising, since they find sufficient arguments to envision new horizons, strengthen their profitability and implement innovation and creativity.
