Abstract

In march and june of 2010 a characterization the amphibian and reptile faunas was carried out in the wetlands of Charco de Oro and La Bolsa in the municipality of Andalucía, Department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia. In the study were recorded nine species of amphibians and seven of reptiles. In addition were recorded two other reptiles species in vicinities near to the wetlands. The richness of amphibians was higher during the dry season and the reptiles were equal but its composition changed.
