Abstract

We report the first record of Campylocia araca Gonçalves & Salles in Colombia thus extending its geographical distribution. The species was determined based on two male mayflies and one female from the department of Meta. In the original description, this species had been registered only for the Brazilian Amazon and this new record broadens the species distribution range to the Orinoco river basin and casts light on male genitalia morphology.
