Abstract
TOLOSA, Sandra. The Endless Dialogue. Comunidad India Quilmes: Political Construction and the State Power. Rev. colomb. antropol. [online]. 2014, vol.50, n.1, pp.55-81. ISSN 0486-6525.
In this paper we introduce an overview of the history of the Comunidad India Quilmes -located in the province of Tucumán (northwest of Argentina] from the angle of its member's relations with different levels of the state power (local, provincial and national) emphasizing the constitutive character that those relations have in the development of the communitary political organization. In turn, we analyze possible contradictions within the existing general functionality in these different levels and their effects on the Community. Finally, we discuss the territorial conflict in the current political scenario, in order to reflect on the possibility of a real implementation of specific indigenous legislation in the corpus of the existing law, and the resulting transformation in the lives of those groups.
